I now have determined the three levels of furnishings that I consider ClassZMinimalism™.

First is IKEA. This is the level for the young person who is going to be furnishing their first Raptor Trop Dome™. It is nicely designed at extremely reasonable prices. Of course every piece is a flat pack and requires time putting it together.

The mid level ranch would be West Elm. These furnishings are when your income is in the manager level and my Raptor Trop Dome™ is not a starter home but instead a designer influenced one or a second vacation/season home.

The third level is the previous mentioned Jonathan Adler and RH.

I was just in Cumming, GA and up the road is a outlet center with West Elm. Everything there was 40% off; however all sales are FINAL.

I was in Asheville, NC and got the opportunity to visit RH, which is prominently featured in Architectural Digest.

I went in and was blown away with their furnishings! I found Shelia who told me how RH came into existence. I did not realize they had been in the beginning Real Hardware that I read about years ago. She told me about the new RH store for the trade in interior design in Atlanta. It is a five story building with a roof top restaurant! It is on my visit list the next trip to Atlanta!
