Creating A Trop Dome™ Part 1
People keep saying this about my Raptor Domes™ – I DONT SEE HOW YOU CAN MAKE IT A TROP DOME™!
This series will take you step-by-step through the process to make it TROP!
Yes I will admit that this superstructure at first does not look like it could ever be a TROP DOME™.
But what if we substituted the 2×6 wooden struts with STEEL, ALUMINUM or BAMBOO.
What if we used either STEEL or ALUMINUM as a substitute also for the plywood panels you see here?
Here it is triangular 3/4 inch marine plywood triangles covered with an environmentally friendly HydroStop® that is the white coating either blown or brushed on. Of course these can be painted in tropical colors like you see in the Bahamas.
Or what if we used environmentally friendly HempCrete that could be placed in the triangular spaces that even provides insulation?
Granted as you normally see HempCrete it is not very attractive but it can be painted over into those tropical colors.
So you see the exterior can be made more attractive!
